Just hours ago, Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma and Nintendo announced that the open world Zelda game would no longer be released in 2015.
As Aonuma states in an address to fans on Facebook and YouTube, the newest iteration has been postponed because they are trying to put out the best product to match their vision.
Aonuma addressed fans worldwide stating "the team has experienced first-hand the freedom of exploration that hasn't existed in any Zelda game to date, we have discovered several new possibilities for this game." They felt that instead of sticking to a schedule, they should adhere to their new vision.
Originally set to launch in 2015, it seems we'll have to wait another year for this Wii U exclusive.
