Even after the 7 million PS4's sold, Sony is still expecting over $200 million in additional losses this fiscal year.

In February after the sale of its PC business, the company expected losses upwards of $1.07 billion according to Games Industry. Now the company is expecting $1.27 billion in losses. The company was anticipating larger sales from their remaining PC units but unfortunately the sales have failed to meet expectations. This, in turn, leads to "excess components in inventory" according to a statement by Sony.

Sony will release an accurate fiscal report on May 14th at which point more information will be available as to actual losses.
