The Infamous Paper Trail augmented reality game built into Second Son is partially a mystery to some. A lot of you have been wondering how to go about solving the Paper Trail so we're here to help. This walkthrough is a work in progress as the missions are updated weekly over the course of 6 weeks.
Part 3: Mission 1: Pick Up the Trail
Go to the marker like usual and you'll be prompted to chase Celia yet again.
You'll arrive at a car bomb crime scene where you're tasked at sneaking in to investigate the area for clues. Dispatch of any enemies you may encounter and proceed to take some pictures of the scene.
Sync up with the Paper Trail site and check out your new goodies. We have the crime scene photos, another dove, and a campaign poster for Winegard for Senate.
On the bottom of the third image of the origami dove, Celia has given us a case number. This is where things get weird and slightly complicated. We'll need to input the case number on our favorite DUP website. My walkthrough used 43300691701 but this could be different on different accounts.
This brings us to a Cell 404 Surveillance for Celia's cell. When looking around, you'll click on origami doves thrown about as well as web-like designs with numbers on the wall. We will need to match the corresponding origami web with the correct web on the wall. Match the 1 on the origami with its location on the web and go from 1 through 6. For example, in mine 1=3, 2=87, etc. Repeat on both walls.
Matching these up gives you a couple more sets of numbers each with 11 numbers total. More case numbers! Yay. In my playthrough, I got 38771269341 and 04465861055.
Input the first set into the intranet (we'll get to the second set later) and you will get, you guessed it, more reports with more file numbers. In this report about one conduit looking after another, 00731718404 is referring to Hank. Let's look at his file.
On the last page of his report, you can see an incident report number 46298893710. Input that into the DUP site to bring up a picture of the scene with a camera ID# 286468189616. We have a tracking number. NOTE: The number is randomly generated though so everybody's will most likely be different.

Time to go to Delsin's phone.
Put the numbers in and that's it. Back to the PS4.
Because the tracking number is different for everybody, all I can say is track the camera and good luck. Mine was located here on a grey building.
Sync up and now it's time for the fun stuff. Click on the DUP Camera Drive and prepare for 7 individual mini-games that will test your patience a little bit.
The key to these games is to link a continuous strain of "nodes" together. So in the picture above, I can either connect from the top or the bottom just as long as they connect. It's completely randomized so that's all I can really help with on these.
Once you've finished them, You'll gain access to an Incendiary Footage video and a Software Update with a website on it. Play the video and at the end, you'll see a license plate number.
Go to the DUP site you see in the software patch notes and input the license plate number and it will reveal the location of the vehicle in the video. Talk about "big brother"...
Back to the console.
Time to track down Senator Winegard. Go to the mission marker and you'll be asked to go to a location and wait for the Senator. Just in time for some fireworks.
You have a decision to make: heal Winegard or finish the job. Either way, you'll need to collect some evidence at the scene.
