Valve has announced the beta period for the Steam Family Sharing is over and the program is now available to all Steam subscribers, effective immediately.
The news was announced on the Steam community site letting all 65 million active users know they can share with family and friends. With the Family Sharing program, friends and family can share with up to 10 other computers provided the originator of the content isn't on their machine. To activate a library, simply log into the second machine and authorize the unit.
Keep in mind, only one user can access a library at a time. Don't worry owners of the content as Steam will notify the secondary user that you're getting on so they'll have to close out.
Have you been using the shared program already? What do you think? Let us know below.
