Ubisoft's Snowdrop Engine Continues to Impress

Check out the new demo of Ubisoft's  Snowdrop Engine which can be seen early next year on The Division.

In an interview with Develop Online, brand art director Rodrigo Cortes say the focus of the engine was to "work better, not bigger" to get as many assets on screen without using too much CPU. "Thanks to the tools provided by Snowdrop, we can create more with less," said Cortes, "with a limited amount of blocks, we can create huge and detailed worlds."

Based on the video shown at GDC, the new engine proves to be working on at least a high end PC.
