Thief's Native Resolution on Next-Gen Is...

Thief director Nicolas Cantin has confirmed -- in what seems to be part of a weekly news segment -- that their game is running 1080p on PS4 with a lower resolution of 900p on Xbox One.

The news was confirmed by Eurogamer when asking the director for resolution and frames per second. In case you were wondering, it appears both versions are resting nicely at 30 fps. The Xbox One has had multiple developers come forward to state that games they are making would be running at 720p or 900p with all exclusive projects running in that range with the exception of Forza 5.

Although some gamers may find concern in the matter, Cantin seems less worried when saying, "You really need good eyes to see the difference," as both versions seem to look very good from an outside perspective.

Thief hits physical and digital shelves on February 25th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC at whatever resolution your platform of choice offers.
