Borderlands 2 Vita Bundle Coming Soon

Update: Pre Orders are now live on Amazon so get on it while they're still up.

Sony has officially announced the PS Vita Slim Borderlands 2 bundle and it is set to release later this spring.

Announced earlier last year, Gearbox became invested in porting their phenomenal co-op shooter to the Vita as soon as possible and it seems that we're not only getting our wish, but we'll also be able to purchase a bundle package with the new slim version of Sony's handheld. Originally released in October only in Japan, the new remodel comes as a lighter version both technically and in weight toting a 15% lighter frame but sans the beautiful OLED screen. The Borderlands 2 box comes with the game, a slim Vita, an 8GB memory card and a box that they come in.

In a post by the PlayStation Blog, Borderlands 2's new Vita iteration comes stocked full of features including cross-save from PS3 to Vita, 2 additional playable characters, and 6 DLC packs. If you haven't played Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty or Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, you can now as it comes with the game day and date as well as the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and Collector's Edition Pack.

Get your bundle this Spring for a measly $199.99. Not sure what to think of the Vita? Check out the BT review here.
