Closure Review: Head Into the Light

Closure Review: Head Into the Light

Closure is a dark and wonderful platform game brought to you by the people at Eyebrow Interactive. With multiple levels ranging from surprisingly simple to frustratingly challenging, Closure will undoubtedly keep you thinking outside the box for six plus hours. I've heard other gamers refer to this game as artsy-fartsy. While I would agree that art and vision have an obvious presence, it isn't overwhelming, and it’s the gameplay that truly separates this game from most. In league with similar titles such as Braid and Limbo, Closure should not be overlooked and is definitely a "buy it" title.

Bruise’s Counterpoint: Although I did enjoy some of my time with Closure, I do, however, feel that the game just wasn’t very fun. I found it very innovative and interesting for the first few levels but became increasingly bored with the idea and the original “cute” factor. This would be the kind of game I would enjoy a little more on a Vita or other portable device, but the lack of interesting visuals on a large television is anything but flattering. I would say to leave it.
